Here are pictures taken by ACWA members who were at Gettysburg, 2008
Andrea DiMortino, Event spokeswoman for the event said, "Over 10,000 reenactors, 100 cannons and 400 horses, 100 mounted cavalryand untold amounts of  spectators experienced a rare opportunity to experience historyre-created at a  troop deployment level seldom seen at any reenactment."

Anita Hatch, Jonah Hatch and Jim North . Many members of the ACWA were most fortunate to take part in the amazing Gettysburg reenactment.

Above are three of those members. The rest of the members were spread all over the field and were not available to have their Pictures taken.

The Elizabeth Thorn monument in Evergreen. Peter and Elizabeth Thorn were the caretakers of the cemetery when the battle erupted. Peter was away serving with the Union Army. Elizabeth was 6 months pregnant and living with her children and immigrant parents in the Gatehouse.

View from the Angle looking directly at the Virginia Monument across the field in the middle of the tree line. It's a long way off but it's an unimaginable distance to be covered under fire from Union cannon. In the middle of the photo is the fence on Emmitsburg Road .
